Metallic marble system

Metallic epoxy floors: liquid marble that never repeats

Metallic pigments suspended in resin that keep moving as it cures. The result is a seamless, deep, glossy surface with veining that belongs to your floor alone.

What it is and how it looks

Depth, gloss and movement

The metallic marble system uses U.S. Resin Supply metallic pigments in a clear epoxy. As it is applied, the pigment flows and settles into veins, clouds and swirls with a three-dimensional effect that shifts with light and viewing angle.

No two floors are alike: the installer’s hand, the temperature and the blend of tones shape the pattern. That is why we agree on a physical sample before installing, so the design direction is a decision, not an accident.

  • 31 finishes available, and they can be combined.
  • Smooth, high-gloss, seamless surface with no joints or grout.
  • The system to choose when the floor should be the centerpiece of the room.

Build-up

How it is built

Three layers over properly prepared concrete. Mechanical surface preparation is what secures the bond.

System layers:BaseMetallic pigmentVeining

  1. 01

    Base

100% solids epoxy in the background color. It seals the concrete and sets the overall tone of the floor.

  2. 02

    Metallic pigment

Metallic finish resin loaded with pigment. It is poured and worked by hand to create the movement.

  3. 03

    Veining and seal

Veins are drawn with a second tone and, once cured, the surface is protected with the seal coat.

Pricing

What it costs

$100–$120

USD per m², installed

It is the higher-value system because it takes more finish material and more handcraft per square meter.

The final price is confirmed at the on-site assessment, which is free of charge.

What pushes it up

  • A substrate in poor condition: cracks, uneven areas or moisture to fix first.
  • Small or chopped-up areas with many edges and cut-ins.
  • Designs with several tones or heavily worked veining.
  • Projects outside the Greater Metropolitan Area, due to logistics and travel.

What brings it down

  • New, sound, level concrete.
  • Large, continuous areas.
  • A single metallic tone over the base.
  • Projects within the Greater Metropolitan Area.

FAQ

What people ask us most

Can I get a metallic floor identical to a photo?

We can get close in color, contrast and type of veining, but never identical: the pigment moves while the resin cures, so every floor is one of a kind. That is why we agree on the design with a physical sample before installing.

Is a metallic floor slippery?

It is a smooth, high-gloss finish. In dry interiors it behaves like any polished floor. For areas that get wet often, such as open carports or wash areas, we recommend considering the Flake system, which has a naturally slip-resistant texture.

How much does a metallic epoxy floor cost in Costa Rica?

Between $100–$120 per m², installed. The final price depends on the area, the condition of the substrate and the finish, and is confirmed at the on-site assessment, which is free of charge.

Can it go over existing tile?

In many cases yes, after evaluating the surface and preparing it mechanically. During the visit we check tile bond, moisture and level to confirm.

How do you clean a metallic floor?

A mop and neutral soap. With no joints, there is nowhere for dirt to build up. Avoid dragging sharp metal objects across the surface.
