Pricing and quotes
How much does an epoxy floor cost in Costa Rica?
Per installed square meter: flake $70–$90 and metallic marble $100–$120 (USD). Solid color is quoted per space. Three things move the final price: the area, the condition of the substrate (how much preparation and repair it needs) and the finish. It is confirmed at the on-site assessment, which is free.
What does the assessment include? Is there a fee?
It is free. We visit your space, measure it, test the concrete (moisture, pH and surface profile), review how the space is used and recommend a system and finish. You get a PDF quote with a confirmed price. We schedule it over WhatsApp.
Can I get a ballpark before the visit?
Yes. The price estimator on this site gives you a range based on square meters and system, before asking for any details. You can also send us a photo, the approximate m² and the location on WhatsApp.
How do I pay?
A 50% deposit to schedule the installation and the balance on handover. We accept SINPE, bank transfer or cash.
Installation
Can it be installed over tile or my existing floor?
In many cases yes, over tile or concrete, after assessment and preparation. We check that the tiles are sound and mechanically grind the surface to secure the bond. That avoids demolition.
How long does installation take?
Typically 3 to 5 business days, depending on area and weather. The timeline for your project is written into the quote.
When can I walk or park on it?
Foot traffic at 24 hours and vehicles at 48 hours after installation is finished.
Does it smell? Does it contain VOCs?
The materials we use are zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) and virtually odorless. They can be installed in occupied homes, offices, and food or healthcare spaces.
How tough is it? Will it peel?
Data-sheet bond strength is 350 psi: the concrete gives way before the bond does. That is why preparation matters most; we test moisture (<4%, ASTM F1869), pH (≥9) and surface profile (CSP 2+) before installing.
Finishes and design
What finishes are available?
Three systems: metallic marble (31 finishes, every floor one of a kind), flake with Torginol chips (15 finishes) and solid color (7 colors). All 53 are in the finish lab on this site, and you get a physical sample before installation.
Can I see how it would look in my space?
Yes. In "See your space" you upload a photo and see your floor in the finish you choose. The photo is processed on your own device; it is not sent to any server unless you choose to attach it to your request.
Is it slippery?
It depends on the system. Flake has natural slip resistance from the chips, so we recommend it for garages and areas that get wet. Metallic and solid color are smooth and high gloss; for wet areas, bring it up during the assessment.
Does it work outdoors?
We recommend it under a roof: carports, covered terraces, covered walkways. Areas in direct sun are evaluated case by case during the visit before we recommend a system.
Care
How do I clean an epoxy floor?
A mop and neutral soap. Because the surface is seamless, there are no joints or grout to trap dirt. Avoid dragging sharp metal objects across it. We leave you care recommendations at handover.

The Greater Metropolitan Area and surroundings (San José, Escazú, Santa Ana, Heredia, Alajuela, Cartago), Guanacaste, Jacó and Manuel Antonio. We have no physical store: we are based in Piedades de Santa Ana and bring the samples to your space.
